The "more of a purpose" Derrick showed was what?
I thought Derrick's shoulder things would've been a lot better if they'd just been left as coils of wire rather than wrapped in the fabric.
I'm one Thorgy fan who doesn't need boy-Thorgy to be a sweetheart. His neurotic, bitter boy side makes it clear that his sunny drag persona doesn't just come naturally — it's a work of self-transformation, and that's what drag's about.
And Bob was not really the funniest in the reading mini-challenge — a lot of his jokes were a little over-thought and long. There was no clear winner, but it certainly shouldn't have been him.
To me, Robbie Turner was this season's version of Trixie Mattel — funny and charismatic as a boy backstage, but somewhere lost underneath his costume whenever he stepped onto the runway.
I'm convinced Derrick has a contract for a set number of episodes. Yes, she won the lip-sync, but it should have been Chi Chi facing her (Chi Chi's runway was MILES below Robbie's) and Chi Chi would have effortlessly mopped the floor with Derrick.
Oh god, yes I did see it, and now I'm re-cringing having been reminded!
Didn't see that one.
Betty is a makeup artist and designer who turned in a C grade acting challenge after doing well in previous acting challenges.
I'm thinking this is the first week we've seen Naomi in a role she'll be keeping for the next three or four episodes: Lip-sync Executioner.
YMMV. To me the "titties look amazing" stuff was hella awkward — and Debbie Harry reacted by pretty much ignoring it and walking away.
Yeah, Thorgy was a big disappointment for me — he's my favorite, but his MJ was weak — really don't know why he got special mention from the judges over Chichi's much better Eartha.
Yeah, even the best were just pretty good.
No. You don't have to be a dancer, but you have to be able to move. Kim's far more limited to being just a "look queen" than Betty was.
Taken too soon! Forced to lip-sync in a pregnancy dress, are you kidding me? And against a queen who is built to win lip-syncs but not really equipped to be interesting in any other way?
The British version of Being Human, as a werewolf. Naked and confused mornings-after in the woods.
Yes, I often went back to rewatch the episode after reading Brandon's reviews to look for something he'd written about that I hadn't picked up on.
As a fan I was tempted to suspect anti-shills, but I suspect it was really just the gays' obsession with being The Right Kind of Gay vs The Wrong Kind of Gay.
I blame Patrick as much or more than I blame Kevin.
