I saw Heaven & Hell on tour in 2006 and Black Sabbath a couple of months ago and there was no contest - the former was far, far better. Ozzy looks positively mummified on stage and Geezer and Tony mostly appeared to be going through the motions. I mean, I enjoyed it, but left twice for cigarettes which is not

Yeah I am surprised by the assessment of that song, especially because the riff was the part that impressed me the most.

I spent much of university playing N64 with my housemates, taking drugs and listening to Music Has the Right to Children and Geogaddi… good times indeed.

I may be part of the 'devoted cult of diehards' but I am loving it… oddly for BoC it sounds better to me on a stereo than headphones.

It's quite different from their earlier work (I think it took until track 6 for there to be a recognisably BoC tune on there) but damn, is it good.

Yeah I only recently started watching S1 and have stopped while I watch the new Arrested Development but if anything that could get me back it would be the aforementioned sex episodes.

Oh I do love Simon Amstell though… other than his standup DVD and the brilliant Grandma's House, has he done anything else since leaving the show?

I've said this on here before but I couldn't possibly play any of the ME games again. I loved them but I was so invested in the story that it's done for me now and I really don't want to revist it because it wouldn't be the same. This is undortunate as I'd like to see some of the DLC for 3 because the only one I have

I don't think it's anything to do with the weather but our internet was out for over a month recently. Total FWP I know, but what a fucking FWP!

I was busy all weekend so didn't see a thing but that was a pretty amazing trifecta from the three teams I was supporting. I haven't seen it myself - is it true that Dagg is looking more Shayne Philpott than Christian Cullen this season?

To someone who grew up with him as David St Hubbins, it's amazing to look through his credits and see most of them are something along the lines of the 'yuppie weiner' you cited or 'slimy corporate douche'. Great actor though, loving him in Family Tree.

I have played Graceland at many parties and that doesn't work, even at 6 in the morning when I wish it would.

Sneer Rim Joy

I used to quote that after every failed song while playing Guitar Hero

Not quite 'in the band' but David Bowie 'discovered' Luther Vandross during the Young Americans sessions:

Only the few, the proud, the pathetic.

Ah dammit, someone beat me to it

[Owen Wilson logs out]

Japanese cuisine is a broad church, there's a lot of food in there that I had no idea of before I moved to Osaka. The stuff they do with crab in Kansai will blow your mind.
