Definitely agree on your first point, I only really 'got' MBDTF last year as I'd listened to it once at a party and since then just picked out my favourite individual tracks (Runaway, Monster etc…) to listen to alone but now I couldn't imagine putting the album on and not letting it finish.

Seriously? I love Daft Punk and think that song is legit astonishingly good, possibly the best single of the 00s.

Yeah, I was hoping someone else had posted their thanks on here. Regardless of what you think of Kanye, this article is an incredibly well-written account of Kanye's history and his impact on modern music and culture. Such a treat to see this when I arrived at work this morning.

Nice, love that Thompson book, it really shaped a lot of my worldview and future studies when I was at university.

Vineland is still excellent, it's just not as good as Gravtiy's Rainbow, Lot 49 or most of his other work… I would rate it over V., which I found a bit too meandering.
