Both this show *and* Elementary are both possible cancellations for CBS. Damn it, why are their very *best* dramas-that-are-only-pretending-to-be-route-procedurals the ones most likely to get canceled?!

Yes, seeing Sherlock connect with someone other than Joan (or even the other cops) struck me as well. And seriously, this show does a fantastic job of finding women to pair him up with. First Joan, then "Jaime," and now Abigail… JLM has chemistry with anyone, seriously.
I thought this was a fantastic character building episode, with one of the best ethical dilemmas this show has ever featured. What happens when you find a criminal who you sympathize with more than you ever do the actual 'victim'? Especially when the detective has more in common with the brutalized criminal than the…
The problem with Kalinda is that the writers made her 'mysterious' without ever really thinking about what the hell her mystery should consist of. And then, once they realized they had to reveal *something* about the character lest audiences get bored, they came up with… Nick. Which honestly made her 'mysterious…
I agree with you; while I'd like to see Cary and Alicia as true equals, she really does have a lot to hold over Cary's head. They had that cute little dialog in S05Ep1 over whether it's Agos & Florrick or Florrick & Agos… but let's face it, we *all* know it's going to be Florrick and Agos. She's not Cary's boss per se…
Hahah, thank you! I'm a huge Cary fan (I pour all my frustrated Logan Huntzberger feelings into him, embarrassingly enough) so I'm glad to see him finally get some juicy plot-lines of his own. He's a fascinating character — somehow both an idealist *and* a conniver, all at once — and it doesn't hurt that he has…
Also, maybe a bit of a spoiler but look at this interesting article:
Honestly, I'm enjoying my break from Kalinda. As an Indian-American woman, I love the idea of seeing a kick-ass Indian-American (or… British or Canadian?) woman on-screen but I *hate* the way Season 4 largely turned Kalinda into a bizarre, work-shirking, tempestuous, tantrum-throwing idiot over her husband. I'm okay…
I absolutely love Robyn too — she's so fun and cute, and a great contrast as an investigator to Kalinda. She acts more or less like a normal person would, as opposed to giving all her marks bedroom eyes all the time. I hope Cary and Alicia don't end up suddenly dumping her if Kalinda all of a sudden wants to join…
That struck me as completely bizarre as well. Kalinda's supposed to be a supremely awesome detective, especially given how many improbable dues-ex-machinas she shivvies up her sexy leather boots whenever L&G needs to win an apparently unwinnable case. But she doesn't even realize Alicia is about to go off with Cary…
She and Robyn are my favorite here-and-there characters on the show. I love the levity they bring to all the grim, strong-jawed proceedings!
Cary and Alicia! These two remain my favorite characters and I thought this week continued to develop the intricate relationship between these two. At this point, though, I can only hope that they don’t turn into the next Will and Diane, considering how terrible things are between Will and Diane. I want to believe…
