Reminds me of this time I was on the subway (and if you know the NYC subway, you know that people tend to keep to themselves) - this guy was trying to preach the word, and he was like "Alright Christians, MAKE SOME NOISE!" - the train was dead silent. And he goes "I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" to which the train remained dead

Together?

Together?

Yeah, this seems especially ridiculous when it's literally cash (or a check, or what-have-you) that they could just as easily deposit in a bank rather than rip up/throw out/burn. I know the character's supposed to be too proud to accept that tainted money, but couldn't they give it to their friend or the local animal

I actually wasn't trying to snark on you - I just like the thought of Method Man in a bustle.

The first thing I thought of relative to this is Julianne Moore playing an old version of herself in The Hours:

How about in the second Charlie's Angels movie where a guy makes an accurate long-distance shot while on a motorcycle. In the middle of a race. Flipping in mid-air. (I know those movies are supposed to be stupid, but they didn't have to make it THAT stupid)

Method Man's bustle and petticoat were ALL WRONG.

I'd also like to note on this subject: in the art world, just like pretty much every creative industry, there tends to be a big divide between people on the buying/selling side, and the creative types (and their fans). Think: film industry investors vs. directors and actors, publishing CEOs vs. novelists, music

Yeah the AV Club comment system doesn't seem to allow replies after a certain amount of nesting…
