I thought it was quite good, and it helped me realize two important things:
1) I really like movies; 2) I really kind of hate "Amelie".

Also, the recent "The Muppets" with Amy Adams and Jason Segel does it several times, too (but mind you I'm not suggesting you actually see it, because it's not very good).

Yeah, interesting choice to include Funny Games but not the famous remote control bit; probably better this way, though.

The rare Simpsons/Community double-axel camel spin. Well done.

Having read/listened to very little of Gervais and solo Jillette, I'd just like to say here that I find self-righteous, proselytizing atheists really, really annoying (and yeah, I'm an atheist myself). That is all.

Also, I'm sure it's already been said many, many times, but I do find it a little amazing how directly, bluntly and quickly Hype Williams and co. ripped-off/appropriated the Enter the Void title sequence (the movie came out in the U.S. in September, 2010; All of the Lights music video came out in February, 2011).

Even though I know I shouldn't really care, on some level it still bothers me that Angie Harmon is a Republican.

Yeah, I have to agree with the "personal worst up there" sentiment (and it's too bad, because she seems like she's basically pretty nice…). My understanding is: the whole 'vaccines=autism' thing isn't just opposed by credible doctors and legitimate research, it's also opposed by people who are actually on the autism

Eh? What was that? I am hard of hearing, which means that I sometimes have difficulty understanding the things that people say to me when we have conversations between the two of us, so could you please repeat everything that you have said along with additional, detailed descriptions of all of the things you have

I think the deal is: Rorschach was Alan Moore's interpretation of characters created by Steve Ditko; Ditko was committed to Randian Objectivism and his comics often espoused Objectivist philosophy.
