"Life's tough, and he has every right to cry… but I believe that things can be better for anyone. I will hope with my heart that he'll feel better, even if he's not ready to yet." - K.C. Green

Yeah- men die just as pretty as women do- and it doesn't contribute to a toxic culture that erases violence against women.

Let us know how you find Resi7 as you keep at it! Everyone I know is really divided about the last third.

He leads the scout troop that finds Cheryl, but disappears after that.

I know about the time cops. Jughead being asexual is a recent development.

Glee was weird because it looked like it was going to make Kurt into a bit of a creep, but it jumped back quick. Kurt was a creep in a totally understandable way in the first season and a half. That's a good show.

Well, he's the one that's really into the dark side of Archie— he made it canon in Afterlife with Archie, the zombie book with the Italian aesthetic. I guess it's one of his go-to buttons for fucked up shit in Riverdale. It's not a sex thing because he's gay as hell- it's just his take on those characters.

Yeah, it's apparently a thing for the current Chief Creative Officer over at Archie comix

Moose being Bi but winding up with Midge might make sense- and we know Miss Grundy was hella into dudes in her day- Ditching Jughead's Identity would not only be a betrayal of his character, it'd jeopardize his position as narrator.

Well, not necessarily that specific relationship. But Ms. Grundy was a hellcat in her day.

I think that the expected dynamics are warping a bit— they have to go hard to make Boy Next Door Archie morally ambiguous even though it's fucking Archie. He can't just be Miss Grundy's Sweet bit of Statutory (RAPE!!!), he also has to have overheard the murder.

They're already spending precious digital ink on how Cheryl Blossom does her makeup— a few cool covers are not that big a deal.

That or at least a web-series- a Vlog of them making it the big time. Their energy is rad.

Disqus is being glitchy, so sorry if I already posted something to this effect:

To be honest I'm not too confident about talking about their bonafides because I don't know too much about what goes on at any given gathering, and that seems to be the best distillation of their work, their community, their influences and associated acts.

The quote from Aguirre-Sacasa seems to differ- he described Jughead's asexuality as "a stop on the way" as the show catches up with the comics. The full quote:

Did you know that Jughead was originally supposed to have a hearing impairment? According to the early casting sheets, that was the plan.

Capitalism is a hell of a drug- but I think that any acknowledgment that white privilege and male privilege don't obviate class privilege is important in America since it's hell bent on pretending that Class doesn't exist.

Well, here's the key fact you're missing.

Yeah, but at the same time that's inevitably got to roll down from the comics since Comics!Jughead is asexual and she just really needs to get over him.
