Nope - everything up through the black album and about 1/3 of Load/Reload still shreds. I've still got my AJFA era Pushead t-shirt somewhere.

As a card-carrying elitist, I'm going to wait for the ethical chapel to open at Chipotle, thanks.

Yeah, they almost made it as big as Grammy-award winning Megadeth! I heard they had a single in the pipeline - something about the Sandman comics - that would have been a hit if their Grammys loss hadn't derailed their career.

GET TO DA INVISABAL CHOPPA

Jethro Tull beat "…And Justice for All" for best metal. Thereby causing Metallica's label to lose confidence in them and shelve their next album, destroying Metallica's career. Stupid Grammys!

DDT is bad for insects and great for your kids!

I see aliens "work" in the same way I do: posting on the AV Club.

Seconded. While 'South Park' makes me fall out of my chair laughing, "both sides are equally bad" has not been true for quite some time. It's my one frustration with an often brilliant show. Now, off to fuck some chickens…

In any case, we're basically counting on the Senate Democrats to dig in and hold the line for two whole years, while catching all kind of crap from both sides. So basically the Senate Democrats are Faramir.

Plenty of semen will help with that.

NEVER TELL ME THE ODDS

Just got home from the protests at JFK. The partial stay is good news: go ACLU! Now we have to keep fighting.

The pun thread is dead. Schlong live the pun thread!

Unless you do the fade-out/fade-back-in switcheroo. Those are great. Or unless your fade-out makes a Radiohead-esque statement on postmodern ennui in an age of numbing technology. But yeah, if you're a 4/4 rock band pick a dime and stop on it.

Have it and eat it too.

This reminds me I haven't listened to Psalm 69 in awhile. I should fix that. Also, have you heard Slash's last couple of albums? I can pretty much crank either of those in the car on the way to work and be ready to go!

Replace TKaM in that you'd like a more contemporary book dealing with race in the USA? A couple of suggestions: The House on Mango Street, Sandra Cisneros; House Made of Dawn, N. Scott Momaday; Jazz, Toni Morrison.
