I don't think Kenny Powers has left behind the myth of "Kenny Powers." Why would he fake his own death if he was now fine being a normal person? Everything he does is large, grand, loud, and misguided no matter how kind the sentiment.

Wait, Ted has been with him for 27 years he said? Mark Wahlberg is 40 and looks it.

Two of my favorite quotes. Also when Kenny mispronounced "usurp."

Kenny really hates when you get his Criterions out of alphabetical order. Surprised he doesn't go by spine number.

Pack your fist full of hate, take a swing at animals in the zoo.

While I find the show hilarious pretty much whenever it is attempting to make you laugh, I honestly love it and respect most for how dark and dramatic and truly affecting it can get and is WILLING to get. Scenes of Kenny just sitting and staring and realizing what a fucking loser is he is are always so Goddamn heavy,

I didn't mind that the second half was more dark and disturbing than funny. I don't think it was supposed to be funny. I'll agree Will Ferrell may have overstayed his welcome… but I sort of liked the whole cannon thing. It seemed suitably hedonistic and dumb and sort of menacing at the same time.

I am generally averse to guest stars being "themselves" on shows. I feel like it sucks the air out of the show and brings a lot of the back-and-forth the character's usually have to a halt. I didn't mind Burt Reynolds that much, but I still can't get totally behind this sort of guest star stuff.

Has no one mentioned that the CEO of Megaupload is the popular hip-hop producer Swizz Beatz?

As someone who works at a movie theater where we show a new Gerard Depardieu movie almost every month it seems, I can attest to the fact that Potiche is awful.

Breaking news!

Eugene! sounds like the best out of all them, even though all we get is a vague, short summary. All I need to know about it is that Eugene Mirman is creating it, though. That's… all I need.
