Great movie
I'm all for the original ending. A horrible, horrible way to go.
Same here… "Who's hungry?"
Same here - it was a case of, "How'd they get from Santa Monica to Oregon in one take?"
I read about R.O.T.O.R. years ago on Something Awful and genuinely believed it was a spoof article. I simply couldn't believe it actually existed.
I give you Nell, the ship with tits:
Herbert Lom, Stanley Baker, Patrick McGoohan, Sean Connery and Sid James? Is it out on DVD?
I loved BBtS when I was a kid. I think I made my dad take me to see it about four times.
But Southern Comfort was a pretty good movie.
I saw him on the Stripped tour and he was excellent. "Glorious" is my favourite audio track and "Dress To Kill" my favourite video performance. I was massively let down by "Sexie" - to be frank it's bloody awful.
But did Frank Darabont do the illustrations?
Come on!
No love for Trancers?
Fuck Twitter
Puppy Tweets can't be any more stupid, inane or self-centered than 99% of human tweets.
The Wasp Factory could be excellent if done properly.
Whither Jeremy Brett?
Come on, AV Club, how could you NOT include Jeremy Brett in the Holmes section? The guy didn't act the part, he WAS Holmes. Please don't overlook his excellent, excellent performance.
Who?
I'm so glad I have no idea who any of these talentless fucknuts are.
Jesse James is a fucking tool
BORN TO LOSE! BORN TO LOSE! BORN TO LOSE! BORN TO LOSE! BORN TO LOSE! BORN TO LOSE! BORN TO LOSE! BORN TO LOSE! BORN TO LOSE! BORN TO LOSE! BORN TO LOSE! BORN TO LOSE! BORN TO LOSE! BORN TO LOSE! BORN TO LOSE! BORN TO LOSE! BORN TO LOSE! BORN TO LOSE! BORN TO LOSE! BORN TO LOSE! BORN TO…
Eddie Izzard is fucking hysterically funny. What, it never occurred to you that two people might have had the same idea at the same time? Izzard's stated over and over that he's a film nut so it doesn't seem unbelievable that he would come up with a routine based on the ordinary Joes on the Death Star.
I always wondered if The Wolf was the go-to guy for getting rid of bodies, hence Jules' relief when Marcus tells him he's coming.
"Visually stunning"?? They look exactly what they are - shitty toy commercials.
