He really is the best.  I even forgive him for being a bad influence on Amber when he stopped by Parenthood.

Damn right!  I am giving this show at least three weeks of attention, just for Cappie.

I contend that Pit is the ultimate "get drunk and play a board game" board game.

You'd almost have to invite people over to stage a live-action clue game.  Reminds me of the time I tried to determine how to divvy up my college campus into continents for a giant RISK board.

I didn't see it mentioned in the article or comments, but I got Power Grid for Christmas and I'm pretty pumped to bust it out.  I was friends with a board game nut in college (I think I saw a facebook post over the weekend about an 8-hour Twilight Imperium game) and I can't thank him enough for introducing me to a TON

My pop culture intake this weekend was mostly watching stuff like White Christmas and other feel-good old movies to distract from the fact I got my ass fired on Friday.  It wasn't so bad considering.

I think similar to New Girl they set out to make a show centered around the main female character and are finding it's going to work better as an ensemble show.  In the original premise Anna Camp makes a lot of sense.  Unlike Cece on New Girl, however, I don't think they have a good idea as to how to make her work

And now "finding our magical adventure" will be added to my regular euphemism rotation.

I think they came off as jerks because they're decent doctors and think taking over that practice is their dream, but they have no fucking clue how to run the business end of it.  That seems…kind of realistic actually?

If they are re-tooling they should stick with what is working on the show.  Ditch the stupid rom-com premise and add Josh to the main cast.

My wife and I used a mid-wife for our sons birth (although she was attached to the hospital, kind of a best of both worlds situation) so I kind of rolled my eyes.  However, I felt like they were supposed to be more like comically evil midwives rather than a commentary on how using a midwife is bad idea.  And, they

If they're ditching the receptionist and Tobolowsky, they should just go ahead and add him to the main cast.

Who needs them?
