I unabashedly love The Cassandra Crossing. I'm not entirely sure why.

Nope, I've watched the Blu-Ray on a 47" screen and it's still fucking terrifying.
Dear God, I never thought I'd see an Only Fools and Horses quote on the AVC comments…
"Accused"?? I think "guilty" is the word you're looking for.
YES! This. American bread is appalling cake-like over-sweetened crap. And anything that isn't basic is priced stupidly - the same granary-type loaf you can pick up in the UK for about $1.30 is about $6 over here.
I grew up in the Tom Baker/Peter Davison era and loved both of them, but once I finally got around to watching Jon Pertwee a couple of years ago I was blown away by how excellent he is as the Doctor and how much sheer action is in his episodes.
CA has way more porkers than the UK. Just go to the OC or LA county fairs and take a look around.
Fair point. But on my first trip to California from the UK in 1989, I could not believe how fat everyone was. I think that was a real eye-opener in terms of the gap between TV reality versus reality reality.
Oooo good one!
Can't agree more.
Your place or mine?
You mean it's not short for Sarah Jessica Warker?
I'm still waiting for an adaptation of Daily Mail Island.
I'd just once like to see the interviewer kick off with, "Mr Cameron, your government has presided over sustained and vicious attacks on society's weakest and most vulnerable citizens, yet you apparently have no problem with wealthy tax dodgers. How do you respond?"
Tory twat. Isn't/wasn't there a rumour that he was going to stand as MP in Kensington and Chelsea?
Wait, hang on - we have the most sociopathic, bullying, for-the-rich, by-the-rich government in UK history and the interviewer has a go at Milliband's looks? Fuck my country.
Who was the interviewer? Paxman?
Blackadders II, The Third and Goes Forth were all filmed in front of audiences.
Ioan Gruffudd instead. With a full-on Llwydcoed accent.
I have the exact same feelings about the cast of Saturday Night Live. I talk to funnier people every day at work.
