Typical, just typical
I wasn't a fan of Phillip, but I'm annoyed that the mediocre contemporary dancer Noelle is IN while excellent tapper Bianca is OUT. This would not have happened if we were voting.

Fake Out
That "maybe we're going to eliminate Russell" moment really irritated me. But overall, we're off to the good start. Mollee an Nathan are a little too cute, and Jakob pleasantly surprised me.
I agree with you about the Sonya routine: cute and flirty, but not sexy. For me (for you), I don't think she's been able to live up to her debut in Season 4 when she choreographed The Garden for Courtney and Mark.
::grins:: at Sara!
Marshall's from Minnesota, so it would have been funnier if everybody except Marshall and Robin had been bundled up to go ice skating, instead of just Robin being the unbundled one.
I think you need to take the disbelief-suspension to a slightly more illogical extreme.
GO TEAM!
TO GAME!
I thought Billy's solo, while beautiful, seemed frantic. I'm surprised he escaped criticism.
I loved this episode. It was funny and sweet. It felt honest and earned. I cried at the toast, I cried at the end.
Tasty
I wanted to punch Tyce last night, even though I agreed that Jonathan's face was a tragedy mask throughout his (still amazing) performance.
Oh god, not another "great at what you're great at" contestant like Phillip. Don't get me wrong: I love me some Chbeeb, but it was painful to watch him struggling in genre after genre last season, and dragging his partner down with him.
Pete has always despised and desired Peggy, almost in equal measure. This isn't a new development since her rejection of him at the end of Season 2.

Five to go?
