What's the commotion? Is there some sort of Fri-Sun gathering of bloodsucking monsters?

I'm coming late to this so I don't know if someone already mentioned the Law and Order TV movie in which, according to series creator Dick Wolf, the stars from all of the L&O shows would be featured in a terrorist attack on NYC. It was obviously scrapped in light of the Sept. 11th attacks before they got to make the…
Yikes!
Hadn't heard that Starbuck in songs in decades. Literally. Ha!
Jason Heller: Give Attila a whirl; not as bad as people make it out to be.
Marah Eakin you got your wish.
Re: Will Harris
I'll take Around the Sun 10 times before that bland, tepid, insipid Monster album. Also—and maybe it's because I like the band but am not a hardcore fan of theirs—but I find there are beloved R.E.M. records from the '90s which aren't that much better than Around the Sun. I dunno…
Yes, incredibly bad. But how much is it Roberts' fault? His voice is more narrator than of the cat and that's a flaw in the filmmaker's execution rather than the actor's delivery.
Perhaps it's because these are some personal sentimental touchstones being lovingly described here, but that's got to be the finest collective writing you guys have ever done. Or at the very least, the one I've enjoyed the most. Kudos, folks.
I cannot understand how anyone could justify intellectually images of kidnapping a black man for having a relationship with a white woman and then subjecting him to the NOI as indoctrination. That's some racist shit! No? Change the races of those involved and substitute the NOI for a white equivalent and get back to…
Not only have I seen her up close various times, I had the, um, opportunity to chat with her and…well, I won't compare it to dentist visit-type pain but at least after that visit you'll be in better dental health. Meanwhile, I don't recall any benefit from conversing with Kim Gordon.
I was under the impression Judd Apatow had already found "a way to remove the unpredictable risks of human imagination from filmmaking."
This guy nails what's wrong with the whole thing:

This guy sleeps easier knowing the blues is a little deeper into the ground? Really?
Clapton is a douche—and more than borderline racist: he's never apologized for his drunken racist remarks in the '70s yet, unlike Elvis Costello, has inexplicably caught absolutely no flack over it—but I refuse to question how he chose to grieve over his son vis-a-vis this song.
Not a fan of this kid—I'm male, straight, and old enough to be his dad, heh heh, so I'm not even remotely part of the demo—but the haters are way outta line, IMHO.
Yes, this sounds like a solid basis for civility and tolerance. It will probably work wonders towards finding common ground and understanding.
Actually, it seems like there's more back-stabbing, jealousy and resentment among comedians than almost any other group of artistic colleagues.
You can have serious, respectful, thoughtful interviews and discussions on his show. Unless it's about religion.
