I've stopped following the plot of this show entirely. I really enjoy the fashion, furnishings, hairstyles, and make-up, though.

I've been thinking lately about the way cable dramas differ from broadcast shows. We watch Revenge, Vegas, and Nashville on regular TV and on cable we love Justified, The Americans, and Mad Men. What a difference in production values, writing, and plot there is between these two types! What I don't understand is…

I really liked Mary's grey dress with fine black piping especially since she wore it two days in a row. And the editing sucked. Scenes ended abruptly and when they were picked up again there was no continuity—it took a while to figure out what happened since the last scene. D indeed!

My guess is that  the people whose battles weren't broadcast will not be around for us to vote for. Aren't all the shows taped now? The producers already know which of these contestants won't make it to the voting rounds—so why bother showing us? That's my guess anyway—I've never watched the show before.
