I'm surprisingly OK with the mustache thing. and as for the title, yeah. Maybe she can get into Fiona Apple's therapy group.

It's always possible. Like feeling stupider, or less attractive.

Eat healthy foods and get regular exercise?

I mean, I'm sure he was nice and all and people close to him are sad he's gone. But I'm not sure "designed the band's logo" is really all that culturally significant.

Yeah. Can we get songs people actually hate and no more "it's too popular" or "it has things I have a hard time explaining to children"? I mean, I don't particularly want to explain any random sex-referencing song to a small child; that means I hate them now. This sucks.

If you're happy and you know it, leave the band!

OK. Has that ever worked?

I was wondering about that, too. I mean, it's not easy to mix good music with strident message, but if the band if the vector, it really helps if it's catchy. It's not like the oppressed and snowed-under are any less superficial than mindless consumers.

So, hypothetically, if critics liked Do No Harm, it would also qualify?

I finally canceled the DVD part of my Netflix account last night. I didn't really use it anymore, but it just felt kinda sad, like when my VCR jammed on that anime tape and I snuck out to the dumpster and tossed it in late at night since we're not supposed to put stuff with mercury in it in the dumpster anymore.

Not once the check cleared.

No, it won't. It starts Laura Dern and isn't about cool dudes doing cool shit.

Oh, Marge don't you know kids today? Bad means good and shake your booty means wiggle your butt.

OK; can I hit the face?

Me too, and I'm a total elitist… oh.

Go network TV! It only took you three categories for a nomination!

I don't care what anyone says. I want them fat and bald like Pixies 2.0!

Anyone else always read that as "Overkill River" and be disappointed that it's not some weird Americanized Black Metal?

Yeah, never liked dark. I always felt like I was supposed to, being less common-folk with the stronger flavor and less generic sweetness, but I just don't like bitter in my candy. Bitter has a place, no question. But I don't enjoy it in my chocolate.

Huh, I'd forgotten that was a Marvel-wide thing and just remembered him being in it. It killed the gravitas of the event, though the trial at the end was BS. They didn't have to kill Richards, but could've, I dunno, sent him the a Phantom-Zone type place for a few years, or made him a political prize for warring…
