If it makes you feel any better, more than half of what you said can be experienced in a successful relationship as well.

My dad's favorite film. His synopsis made the professor sound like a twat. One of these days I should see it. The movie I mean.

Since we're being obvious: For the Good Times, the Al Green version

You say that now because you haven't experienced Yee Yee's erudition a few comments down.

What, Idiot Wind too obvious?

YouTube's new gimmick poster Reposted AV Club Comments just hit gold. Yellow yellow gold.

What's really awesome is, when he was asked about the lack of black people in his NY, he said something like, "I don't know the black experience well enough to write about it with any authenticity." It really puts a positive spin on the maid and prostitute roles in his films.

I like studio Katatonia in small doses. The live K was dire. Bad vocals, lame instrumentals, lame everything. It would be unfair to blame it on the venue or the roadies. The band after them brought the house down. With mellow prog yet.

He is a hero, visionary etc. in one field and pretty awful in other. It takes some serious fanboy fervor to whitewash his shady practices. And it takes an especially narrow mind to dump on all his achievements — 10% of which would legitimately put anyone in the hall of fame.

I'm more of an anti-Apple-fan troll, but this sounds right. The guy was not a saint, not all "his" inventions were great, but the ones that hit the mark absolutely rocked. Dickless contrarians need to shut the fuck up for about 10 minutes.

I may have spent far too much time making fun of Apple fanbois, but this is epic sad. Maximum respect to the departed. He was the man.

Read their positive review of Kid A. It looked like a resume rejected by Pitchfork.

No love for Cheer Down?

You mean Leaving Las Vegas.

There were no harsh vocals, I am not a fan of Heritage, and yet it was a great show. A mark of a truly great live band is how they sell you the songs you don't like. Get your buddies to hold a spot for you, so you can skip Katatonia entirely. My god, I haven't seen a band this wack.

FZ was there.

I'm more of a King of the Dead man myself. But good to see Cirith Ungol getting some love.

Exactly, they don't mess with money, which invariably leans right. The little leftish song and dance allowed to the individuals is more of a pressure valve.
