Well, I heartily disagree. I thought this carried great emotional weight, and the simple melody has a nice mournful quality that the weissborn enhances. But I'm also a lap slide player (mostly dobro, but a little weissborn), so I'm biased.

Username checks out.

Onion? No, I… no.

Totally disagree. Izzy was a huge part of the Appetite era sound, both live and in the studio. Not only was a a big contributor in terms of songwriting, he and Slash had this interplay thing where they always played off each other that made their sound way more interesting than most other bands of the era (where two

I think You Could Be Mine was actually an Adler-era song that got left off of Appetite. It certainly sounds that way.

I thought that it was made clear by the poker scene that money means absolutely nothing to Kilgrave, since he can get it so easily. Plus, if your goal is to get someone to sell their house out of the blue and vacate immediately, you'd probably need to offer something like 2X the value. Made enough sense to me.

Go on…

Americans Season 3 is on Prime as of a couple of days ago. You may rejoice.

Casual loops are what time travelers do on Fridays, as a break from the formal loops the rest of the week.

Is "Primer" considered lesser-known? Because it's pure awesome.

I don't wanna sound like a queer or nothin', but I enjoy sex with members of my own gender.

I checked out Helborg Lane and Sipe a couple of times. I bought in to the whole shredder guitar mentality at the time, and I still thought the show was the most soulless display of virtuosity I'd ever seen. Which is weird, because Lane and Sipe at least have done other stuff that's amazing, but Hellborg just somehow

Usagi Yojimbo. That's a name I haven't heard for a long time… a long time.

Got a little distracted by somebody doin' the "Repeater"?

So, no one believes in Jedis or the dark side anymore, the Galactic Empire is ascendant again, and Boyega is the stormtrooper who turns eventually discovers the force and becomes a Jedi to challenge them. Seems like they're pretty much spelling it out in these trailers.

The special effects in that video are amazing! It totally looked like there was a woman in the audience.

"To skirt copyright issues…" Uh, not so much. Not charging for your infringement of someone's original copyrighted series and characters doesn't change your liability. It still exists because the copyright owners haven't demanded that it be taken down.

And are we going to do Stonehenge tonight?

"Synth-enhanced"? Sounds like some distortion and a wah pedal to me.
