Yeah, but that isn't evidence; it's just bullshit.
What do you mean they don't have proof? It is a video of him fully admitting he's the legendary meth cook and detailing nearly everything he did! Any solid investigation into him after that confession will be bound to turn up lots of stuff. Skyler may be a good accountant, but not even she can trick trained…
No one is talking about the best weapon in Hank's arsenal: Walt's confession. He confessed! Walt confessed to everything! On tape! Hank has the tape! Sure, Walt lies and implicates Hank, but those are lies. There's no proof, and there never will be, because Hank is innocent. Any investigation would prove it. Walt…
Your review sounds more like the synopsis one reads on the back of the DVD case. Why not go into more detail about character, plot, theme, and larger impact both upon cinema and Allen. You didn't even mention that this is an overt imitation of Ingmar Burgman. Why not?
I don't think it is a subtle jibe. I think it is the writers and producers wanting to tell racist jokes, and thinking that there's a way they can pass it off as "Oh, we're just making fun of racism."
