If you don't remember stuff from when you were 5 something really horrible happened to you.

I saw it in a revival house in London in '91. Oddly the audience laughed at the end when Travis tried to shoot himself but was out of bullets. It had never entered my mind that was funny.

Mitchum had a perfect Boston accent, sounded just like the custodians at my grade school. In the commentary Yates said Mitchum hung out with the grips on the movie for a while and came back and had the accent.

Among the many problems I had with it (especially insane load times every time you opened a door), I found it odd you have amnesia but have zero curiosity in finding out who you are. Even when you talk to someone who might have a clue, like Mr. House, you don't bother asking. I think it would have been a much more

Ma, it's sin, you can't leave it there.

Until recently I thought Langella played the retarded guy on L.A. Law.

Age 13, looking 11, turned away from Gremlin's 2 trying to pay age 12 price. Happily accepted into Return of the Living Dead at adult price. Either way I was 13 and it was about money. (and Return of the Living Dead was amazing)

The real reason Spielberg invented PG-13
If you could pass for 12 movies were cheaper.

As Kubrick said, 'You kinda have to want to kill her.'

The Getaway second rate?
Steve McQueen systematically shotgunning a cop car in slow motion while little children look on. Later, a hood cowering in fear, with a 'How to Pick Up Girls' paperback sticking out of his back pocket. It's a great movie.

would is what a would chuck chucks.

cracked me up, …..

that is the dumbest thing ever written, i and1, you're an idiot.

I was at a theater where they had some kind of interactive device where you could listen to soundtracks. At the Rushmore soundtrack I couldn't keep from cracking up, oh my god this is absurd, and yet I love it. Next thing I knew it had altered the music I listen to more than any other film.

I finished with Mr. House, no curiosity about the rest, selling it back to Amazon for 39 dollars.

The game's not getting any better, I'm beginning to think you guys don't know what you're talking about.

I'll stick with it. I think I will come back to this page after a while, I don't want too much spoiled for me.

frustrating
I'm not too far in, so I wont make final judgment, but I haven't seen a single improvement over the last one, and have found a tremendous amount of boredom so far. I haven't seen one thing new, and I think the faces are worse. Not to mention a few bugs, including getting stuck in a truck. But I will stick

I saw behind the scenes footage of Scorsese shooting Diaz through a multi-colored tinted glass window. He was setting up a shot with Michael Ballhaus, the cinematographer, debating which pane of glass to film through.

Emperor of the North
My favorite of his movies, he did a great job playing a real heavy, acting against type, he's obviously the most likable man on earth.
