My favorite tracks off of DOTU:

Legitimately AMAZING. I love that album.

I wouldn't say MILES above, but it is my favorite album of theirs. I only came to this conclusion about 10 years after it came out (while holding on to Superunknown as my favorite that whole time). I guess it only took about 100 listens, but it just kept growing on me.

Blues Funeral is one of the best albums of the year!

I think they're just trying to prioritize character and story over spectacle. You know, make it good and stuff.

I think those kinds of experiences are important for kids to have, even fairly young ones. It's a pretty safe dry run for the death of a real family member, especially since everyone ended up being OK in the end.

I don't know if I frightened any children, but I think I achieved a similar state of pathetic blubbering. I've watched it repeatedly (I have a 4 and a 6 year old), and it gets me each and every time.

@avclub-57f4bb993d7160a02eafdb3fb99835af:disqus - they actually did a set for Unplugged (the show - it is still actually on. You can catch episodes on Palladia - which is owned by MTV). I haven't seen any other live performances, so I wasn't sure if that one was especially exceptional, but it was pretty amazing.

They are AMAZING harmonizers. I've Got this Friend and Poison and Wine are straight-up beautiful.

It IS awesome. Another great album in an unbroken string of them. They seriously haven't released a bad one yet.

Agree 1000%. It's not like she isn't going to immediately find out from Amber or someone. She's going to get back to school, be there for maybe a month, and learn her mom is going through chemo and she'll come back home anyway.
