Mulder's attitude towards the complete renovation of his apartment at the end of "Dreamland" always makes me laugh and I love that it carries over into this episode where he's nonchalant about a waterbed randomly appearing without explanation. I can just picture the first time he realized, flopping down onto his bed,

I remember that. It was a good call by Shawn Ryan and his leadership on that show is what makes it still the best that FX has produced.

The "drama" between Gemma and Tara is laughable. I couldn't take it seriously at all. The scene with her and Clay was great and that's when her character really clicks into place.

Yeah, we have a run of solid episodes outside of one or two until we hit a couple stinkers in a row in the second half of season seven but even then there are good MotW sprinkled in along with the sister two parter and a great finale.

While I don't think as little of this X-Files episode as Todd does, it is far from their best. Very far. Like Todd, I remember watching this one and thinking it could be so much better only to be let down again and again.
