It's better than Lord of the Rings and The Road.

It's a dark story, yes, but there's a difference between dark and grim. I'd put this one squarely in the "dark" territory. Still a lot of fun, though.

I've always found this one to be an absolute insane blast. It's all over the place, yes, but the last thing I found it to be was grim. The dialogue is fun, too.

Yes, that wast great. Monday is a really stellar episode.

Dreamland II is definitely not as good as the first one and I agree that everything being reversed kills a bit of the resolution. However, I'm a sucker for the end scene where Mulder sticks his head out of his apartment with a great expression of what the fuck? Duchovny can be surprisingly expressive considering how…

I remember laughing hysterically the first time I saw the dancing scene because it was both funny and incredibly stupid. I really like this episode in general as the show is so dark and takes itself very seriously that it risks becoming a self-parody (I don't hate season nine but it did commit this sin a few times)…

I always think there's something wrong with me when I read these reviews because there's a ton of episodes in the second half of the sixth season and in the seventh season that I adore. Some I'd even place in my top ten list (Amor Fati, One Son, Closure, Requeim).

I love this episode. I can't disagree with a number of the complaints but I love it anyway because it feels epic and sweeping even if half the subplots don't take off. I also thought Tegan's leaving was perfect and Davison sold the hell out of the line, "Don't leave, not like this!"

I like a lot of season seven, Sixth Extinction II, Closure, and Requiem being the big ones, but there are some real stinkers the likes of which we haven't seen since season one which does bring it down.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves "Two Fathers/One Son." Sure, not all of the plot holds up but it feels magnificently epic and has some stellar scenes. It was almost like an ending to the show.
