This must be the biggest geek burn since Shatner on SNL.

Completely agree. The production and backing vocals on 'Monolith' are amazing. The folk pop 'T-Rex' album is great too.
New series of 'Fresh Meat', third and final series of ' Borgen', and 'An Adventure in Time and Space'. Cautiously pessimistic about 'Doctor Who' 50th though.
Yep, and maybe it's because I'm a cynical old git from the North of England but the kids in this seemed more self-possessed than the popular kids who went to my school.
As Cumberbatch himself admits, he looks like Sid the Sloth.

Yeah, it's pretty good but preferred the last two. The Alan Partidge film is fucking great though.
Love the bit when Woody ineffectually tells Keaton says that she is his wife and must obey him. I use that line on Licky Kickette with similar results.
Apparently Keaton improvised the closing line.
Agree about 'Before Midnight' and 'Frances Ha'. Also loved 'A Hijacking', 'No', and 'I Wish'.
And a toffee apple.
Way too generous IMHO. There are a few distinctive del Toro touches but the lead performances are all awful (including Elba), the character conflicts hackneyed, and the middle act is sloow.

I saw him a couple of years ago standing outside a pub in Soho and, inevitably, another customer was asking him to do Zod.
Absolutely.
Glad you did. Donat is a God in it.
Watched Chic at Glastonbury (on TV); caught chaotic tail end of Pride parade in Soho, London; went to theatre to see the excellent 'Passion Play' (a domestic drama, not the Jesus one) which was excellent - Alan Rickman was sitting a few seats away too which was nice. Watched latest episode of French series 'The…
Plus the characters have spent lots of time apart and are from different backgrounds and countries. My missus who is a different nationality to me is always coming out with anecdotes I hadn't heard before. We've also been together nearly ten years.
My missus is from Matamata. Lickytrufact!
I saw him two weeks ago on Oxford Street. When I got back to work I said, 'I've just seen that Stephen Moore, the bloke out of 'Clockwise' who, er….' It was very meta.
It's probably my favourite line from any film.
