Agree with Noel about Remains of the Day. It's unfairly lumped in with the books / films it so effectively critiques because of its setting.

I saw him looking through the pink jumpers in Uniqlo on Oxford Street about three months ago. I also used a lavatory after him in the Charlotte Street Hotel couple of years back. We're practically related.

I watched a lot of Star Trek: TOS when it was repeated on UK CBS action recently, but it was three episodes a day tops and that was on the weekend. I knew I had a problem when I corrected a bit of trivia in the 'Trekologist's intro piece.

Also love the way this film isn't set in London but in the provinces, and that the characters don't work in the media. One of the tedious things about 'Keep the Lights' On for me was its New York setting and that the lead character was a trust fund film director.

I interviewed Haigh and the two stars of the film when it came out in the UK. At the beginning of interview Cullen insisted that they were nothing like their characters, and then they went on to act just like the characters in the film. Great blokes though.
