@ explodingbarrel

I watched this after reading the New Cult Canon for American History X
based on your comments about this film being the superior of the two. I agree in that this film is the greater one, and I'm glad to have seen it. How could this have not gathered as much attention as American History X? I hadn't heard of this film

As if this didn't attract more attention
When this first aired on Cartoon Network, I almost lost my mind. This is how the new Star Wars films SHOULD have been. The action is epic, and you get to see the Jedi do things that the films don't show.

How is this not an expansion pack?
It sucks that this is full price and not just DLC. If there is no improvement and it's just more of the same etc then it shouldn't count as a sequel.

If you're trying to point out something you think is uncool, like racism or something, don't forget that the majority of the characters picked are also murderers and thieves and rule fucking galaxies, so it's irrelevant right?

@ Arsenio

I don't agree
that if audiences, especially test audiences, don't understand your movie that you have then failed. It all depends on how you judge success as well. Your movie should be your vision and have a story you want to tell, and if the first 200 people who see it don't immediately get it, then give it time and

This is how all games should be
low cost, low data usage, built for online play and more frequently released. No point in paying $60 for a game to only play half of it, especially games where the focus is on playing online. Bravo I say!

my mrs and I
had All is Full of Love by Bjork, Invincible by Muse, Air on a G-string and You're My Best Friend by Queen. You can do anything you want because it's your wedding and if other people don't like it then they can fuck off, right? That's how you should approach it. Pick what you want and if you can pick

I think you're being unnecessarily harsh on Point Break.

Transformers in either version
will never die because they are so cemented in the memories of those who grew up watching the animated series' and getting all the toys. What about the Michael Bay version was soul-sucking? I mean, I'll admit it was pretty average when compared to every single movie ever made, but I had

Nazis are the most politically correct villains
aren't they? I mean, nobody's gonna come out and say "oh wait, nazi zombies, now you've gone too far." Making them zombies as well is just awesome. I don't even need to see the trailer or anything, all I saw was 'nazi zombies' and I'm already on board.

maybe it's like Indiana Jones 4, where their treasure is also knowledge, and it's found in our brains? Is that too much of a stretch?

Ryan Reynolds looks like a puppet in the above photo I reckon, and probably plays one as well. At least you can't see the strings.

it was a few comments back, but nice work Dr.Robuttnik! I laughed pretty hard when I read that :)

yeah I thought so too, if Leary had lost some weight and some years. Good call dude

what the hell is Dennis Hopper doing in a kids film?
here's a line from Dennis Hopper in the movie, talking to Samantha Mathis' character :

I hadn't seen that before, and damn it was funny. Nice work

I have to ask you Mr Tobias
Were you offended by this movie because you're from the U.S.? I don't think we saw the same movie otherwise. I have seen this movie a bunch of times and it doesn't get old.

The Director's Cut of Alien 3 is almost a new movie in itself. It has almost 30 minutes extra footage, which adds much needed character development, but also the scene where the prisoners attempt to catch the alien ends massively differently. If you haven't seen this version you can't write this movie off yet.
