So stoked for this. They've posted most of the tracks over the last few days and it's definitely some of their strongest songwriting ever. Dan's lyrics are amazing as usual and there's like one life-changing drum fill in every track.

I'd say you're right. I was never really able to get into Lifetime beyond Jersey's Best Dancers and even then I hardy listen to it these days. I pull out the KD once a year or so but PiB has been one of my favourite bands since the first time I heard CVA.

If it means he'll stop pretending that anyone wants to hear Helmet without John Stanier I'm all for it.

And if he released it as a double album, he'd be getting shit for that too.

You have been a participant in the biggest interdimensional cross rip since the Tunguska blast of 1909!

Best line in SNL history.

I think part of the problem is that the show requires a lot of the viewer to get to the deeper levels. On the surface, there's just t&a, marginal acting, and a "network television" sheen to everything. But there's enough there to really get into if you're inclined to engaging with the less savoury aspects of this show.

Yeah, I definitly didn't explain mysel well there, but I agree. I just think that by removing the surface trappings of "kinky sex" they were able to go way deeper into the psychology of the situation.

There'll probably be a Banksy in the background.

Something that I really liked about the way they explored sex on this show is that they dealt with questions of consent, agency and power dynamics that people often explore through BDSM but avoided the "sex-dungeon" asthetic. The furturist zen spa style sort of smoothed over a lot of things. While the show dealt with

Yeah, he gets the mannerisms down cold without slipping into parody. Seriously good acting there.

I actually think the back half of the first season worked better for me than the second season. They explored the different ways the tech related to qestions of identity without getting bogged down in the overarching storyline. The second season was still really good, I just prefer the way they kept it

That was a great episode.

Well, as long as she's married to someone anything goes!

I can still recall old Mr. Barnslow getting out every morning and nailing afresh load of tadpoles to that old board of his. Then he'd spin it round and round, like a wheel of fortune, and no matter where it stopped he'd yell out,"Tadpoles! Tadpoles is a
winner!" We all thought he was crazy. But then, we had some

Who would intentionally use the word "shake" in the name of a weed strain? Harlem Ses, maybe?

Sex Pistols better than The Ramones? You talk a lot of dumb shit, but that takes the cake. Hmmph.
