I can understand that his last 2-3 specials may have paled in comparison to his first couple of specials (though I still loved all of them) but I thought this new special is a glorious return to form. Really razor sharp.

Louie seems to do a lot of work that involves cops. He was a cop in Parks, he played a fake cop on Louie, he has a movie that he's working on called I'm A Cop, and now he's making a series called The Cops.

The second half of the album is particularly stellar. "Redbone" and "Baby Boy" are my stand-outs.
