It'll be a shoe-in come Oscar season.

The sample used during the verses is VERY low in the mix, with no extra instrumentation added on top like Kanye would with older songs using samples.
When he brings it upon himself, it's fair game.
To remind him to eat!
So is the editing fixed from the first film? That movie drove me nuts with its cuts every 1-2 seconds at most.
I completely agree. I also get really sick of the constant "Shut up and make out with me" lines that happen in every episode since those two got together.
Well put, and I find it hard to disagree with you. You should have just wrote that from the first.
You should really rectify that mistake. The Walkmen have been one of the most consistently great bands of the past decade, and are one of the few bands going right now that I would consider to have their own, unique sound. They're pretty refreshing.
I have never heard any Sonic Youth songs called "proggy" so I'm going to have to go with the whiney one, I guess? It sounds like SY doing early 2000s indie rock, and it's great. If you're not just trolling, "Karen Revisited" is certainly worth a listen to jog your memory.
I dunno. They've been touring around sporadically for the last year or so, playing new songs. I've got my fingers crossed I can see them for the, uh, seventh time. Best live band out there, in my opinion.
One of my life's biggest regrets was not finding the money to go see the Nick Cave w/ Spiritualized double bill in Hollywood a few years back. Hopefully I can make up for that oversight by seeing them both next year in Portland.
I somehow always forget about this band, despite loving "Wolf Songs for Lambs" a lot. "No Love Like That" is a jam.
Yeah, but NYC is a totally different beast than middle NA. Even Morrissey has sold out MSG, and I know if he tried to play the Palace of Auburn Hills it'd look very, very empty. I'm curious how this all turns out.
Are they really a popular enough band to fill these venues? I have my doubts.
"Murray St." being one of those things to listen to before it's time to die.
Has this been posted here yet? A bunch of old folks singing "Schizophrenia" as a choir. http://www.youtube.com/watc…
That solo is also awful. The whole idea of an auto-tune vocal solo is terrible.
…from drinking so much before shows.
I don't know what most people say, but I'd have to say the Steel Panthers episode is the worst.
"Mungo City". Mungo Jerry is the one hit wonder that did "In the Summertime", which is the best song to annoy radio DJs by requesting.
