Those prosthetics are good, but somehow do nothing to detract from the underlying Neil Patrick Harris-ness of his face and it is distracting me to no end. The people in my household who watched How I Met Your Mother for multiple hours straight have a lot to answer for.

I think Tua's appeal came from seeing an alternative to the Empire's rule by fear doctrine. She was an Imperial sympathizer, but she wasn't focused on military might or pure force. She seemed to honestly believe the Empire made life better for people, and she worked more in sync with the local populace than any

One small, vindictive part of me is still angry with Kallus for helping get poor Maketh Tua murdered, and honestly if a slightly shrill sweetheart has to die for defecting, so does he.

I like how Lothal has moved from "cute little world" to "dystopian hellscape". A wonderful example of how a setting can evolve subtly, while till maintaining the same general features.

Hey, she thought he was his mother! If that excuse works for everyone else who's tried to kill him, it works for Bismuth too.

Steven's gearing up to free an entire species from tyranny. Let him be a bit of a slow bloomer, it'll pay off.

Right? They don't even need to keep Bismuth around! Free her and let her run off to run a glorious space revolution. She can come back for holiday episodes with spoils of war for the kiddies.

"Nah, we just straight up 'napped you."

I was actually talking about a previous scene, before Linda got clued in, when Charlotte walked up to her and Maze chatting and Linda watched her walking off while biting her lip. Obviously opinions will vary but that struck me as suggesting a certain amount of multi-gender attraction.

Charlotte is rocking that evil vibe. I'm glad that they haven't danced around the fact that she's Bad News. Poor Dan really does deserve better than a divine family tragedy in motion. Or for that matter, a technically legally married chick.

So NASCAR is the Cars equivalent of a gladiatorial match now? An… interesting choice, Pixar. Bold, definitely.

Hercules, while a lovely movie, is not exactly respectful when it comes to the source material. That's done out of necessity, since an invulnerable hero doesn't make for a great story unless you're willing to make fun of it a little.

Sounds like someone hated Hercules.

Hercules is obviously Hercules.

Yeah… the budget cuts have a lot to answer for as well. Clone Wars had Lucas writing blank checks, which means they had the quality to keep kids interested even with more out there plots. Star Wars Rebels is on a shoe string budget by comparison, being forced to push out episodes faster with less staff. That's hitting

I feel like we, as adult-ish viewers, sometimes forget what's going on here. It's very easy to get caught up in "ugh, annoying kiddie pandering" and forget that children need to be pandered to. They're not stupid, but they're not grownups either. They need a little bit of levity and sometimes they need to learn

There are currently phone and letter writing campaigns to make sure electors are at least aware of the option. Plus the Popular Vote Interstate Compact. All long shots but people are really putting work into making them slightly more plausible.

Gem colonization has gone pretty terribly for earth. Gem refugees on the other hand probably saved it. Obviously it would be better to have neither, but if you've got to have the first you want the second around too.

I think having to pretend to approve of Donald- even for the sake of satire- would break something in Steven's soul. At least he can be himself on the Late Show.
