Well, now the Cluster is there, talking to each other. Thinking, communicating. They've found their groove and who knows how they might come back later. (I totally think they'll help defeat homeworld at the end of the season.)

Admittedly Superman scares me a little too! Steven is definitely going to be a good guy, but I think we've only begun to see how powerful he is. Human/Gem does some weird things, and it's not like Rose was a pushover to begin with. There is so much potential. I want this show to go on forever.

So, aside from the fact that Steven and his boundless empathy (literally given how he mindmelded with the cluster) kind of makes me want to hide under a blanket, these episodes were brilliant. Scary and smart and sweet and brilliant. I mean, the animation alone is just glorious. The shots of the cluster? Pure gold.

Steven scares me.

Those credits are a confirmed fake, I believe.

Tangled, that's it. It's not bad, I mostly remember the one scene, clearly can't remember the name, at least.

It's amazing how Message Received was so strong on its own and then only became stronger with this episode. It worked, and then it worked more!

Peridot likes to be tall.

But four's a party. There's a reason Alexandrite is so much fun.

I'm still holding out for more Pearl Peridot bonding. Break down those last vestiges of social strata.

Cue the intervention banner.

It's come full circle.

Luckily she hasn't figured out kissing yet. Peridot as the… messier side of fandom would be terrifying.

In her defense, she was more or less a gibbering wreck. I haven't seen mood swinging that good since Rapunzel.

"So am I going to have to wear a star? Where am I going to put the star!"

I think the thing with Pearl is that she doesn't always realize how she comes across. Her line probably sounded very supportive in her head, she's telling him it's okay and they'll be safe (back at the temple) and then he can do that emotions thing he's so fond of. "All you want" is telling, it's very indulgent if it

Greg: Dad Mom

Yellow Diamond seems pretty utilitarian, I'd be surprised if she tolerated anything being just pretty. You've got to be useful as well, and a Pearl is pretty well suited to basic secretarial duties.

Not a nerd, THE nerd.

I saw a great theory that the shattered gem from Secret team was all that remains of Pink Diamond. Still not sold, but it's better backed up than some other theories.
