Admittedly Superman scares me a little too! Steven is definitely going to be a good guy, but I think we've only begun to see how powerful he is. Human/Gem does some weird things, and it's not like Rose was a pushover to begin with. There is so much potential. I want this show to go on forever.

So, aside from the fact that Steven and his boundless empathy (literally given how he mindmelded with the cluster) kind of makes me want to hide under a blanket, these episodes were brilliant. Yellow Diamond seems pretty utilitarian, I'd be surprised if she tolerated anything being just pretty. You've got to be useful as well, and a Pearl is pretty well suited to basic secretarial duties.
