I liked that reply. However, now I have a rule 34rd MLP image in my head…and I kinda like it!

On Leslie Knope's new found recognition with the council:
I don't really have a problem with that actually, as a pretty hardcore CBB fan. However, I did think last weeks episode with the two of these stars on it was pretty awful.
And you had to watch an animated children's television show featuring a rotating cast of talking unicorns to figure that out?
Agreed. However, those qualities still don't justify an A- grade in the A.V. Club, in my opinion. Reason being is that, first of all, the show is still at the end of the day very cheesy and hokey. It really does remind me of many other children's cartoons I've seen.
But tell me this…do you really need to watch every episode, to find out what "british-sounding pony" or "cowboy pony" is up to next?
I agree, having just checked it out for the first time, that the music is done pretty nicely and the animation is obviously done real well (better than I would have expected).
Wow, you bronies sure are a different breed. You just used the phrase "curb-stomp" to describe an episode of this show.
I was going to say something really mean. But I'll try to refrain myself.
And then made it worse and worse every year…yet still getting paid more?
Very troubling that this is the clip they chose in order to get people excited about it. I was pretty disappointed in a trailer, and now more even so (to me it came off as someone trying to make a Wes Anderson movie, made by someone not named Wes Anderson).
How is Life's Too Short, anyways? No good?
You definitely don't NEED to watch this show (at least, not yet), but it's good enough for providing some laughs, and it feels like it has more promise than most. This latter point was more true for the pilot than episode 2 I would say, but would still say that it applies.
Since we're proofreading here, I caught one in your post actually…
This is not a reasnoble discussion…
but, really? This show? I have seen it, but I do often make fun of it when I see the commercials.
I am a fan of Richard Kelly
but I am not a fan of Southland Tales. I think the best you can say about that movie is that it is a beautiful train wreck.
Seriously, WTF? It's not like we're talking about the new Microsoft IE release or something. This is an actual good product that many people love. Why pay and potentially (read: eventually) embarrass yourself?
Goddamnit!!!!
Or, more appropriately, "Xenu"-dammit?
Pretty good stuff
but the storyline really picked up I think in about the last 15-20 minutes of the pilot. That's about where I got excited to see where this series could potentially go.
