Totally agree. I enjoy these writeups, so much so that I at least skim through the episodes you're going to review each week. And until these, I hadn't bothered to watch Trek for many years. You do good work here, Zack.

And no one had to run you over with a car or beat the living fuck out of you. Win win.

(I was kidding on Shades of Gray. Under no circumstances do you watch that one.)

Shit, I have a high tolerance for Trek and I can't sit through a great number of episodes from seasons 2 and 3.

TNG lifted a few storylines from Phase II as well. I'm pretty sure the upcoming "The Child" episode is lifted from Phase II.

Yeah, like I was saying, having gotten used to TNG for that first season, Conspiracy came out of nowhere. It really shocked and took me by surprise. And you're right, there wasn't anything on nextwork TV like that. It was just so jarring and seemed out of place to the rest of the series.

I just watched Q Who (shut up! I'm a night owl) and it is pretty clearly stated that the Borg only then find out about humanity and head in that direction, with Q essentially speeding up the eventual contact. He did send them far enough out to take a very long time to get back to their territory. So they didn't tie

I still revisit that thread when I need a chuckle.

Blue Floyd FTW

Yeah, I mean, jesus god look at him!

Good GOD man

Also…I'm assuming by "Joe Jackson mad" you mean you'll be stepping out?

Phew. Glad I came back to see what you wrote. But how'd you miss all of "update treatment, courtesy of cinematic pedophile Michael Bay" the first time around?!?

What eagle?

Piper Perabo

Agree with Noel and skullcrusherjones and i and 1. I didn't expect to miss the show, and I didn't expect the finale to have affected me. I rewatched it with my girlfriend and it still sort of hit me. Some of the feelings stuck with me (and Giacchino's score was really huge in that; it was so incredibly stirring).

lylebot wrote the comment I was going to write.

The problem is that some people didn't understand the finale or Lost. But then some people did and didn't like it. But yeah, I guess Snuggles was saying that it's a cycle when people act like douchebags pointing out the douchebagginess of other douchebags? But what's wrong with that? That sort of how AV Club

I agree, that was very well put, Lone. I don't disagree with anything you said and I couldn't have put it better myself.
