Some GREAT additions to the list there, Lone.

I never agreed with the "rule" my friends made (these were similar conversations to those asinine ones had in High Fidelity). I would routinely assign movies I'd just walked out of to "great" status. And I agree, lists are dumb, and arguing over lists is even more dumb.

HAH!

I'd have to hear it a second time to laugh myself.

Hmm, I hadn't thought of Decker/Ilia being Riker/Troi. Similar, though better acted in TMP.

I've always preferred loose nips.

Heh. I used to call Troi "Counselor Cleavage" as a kid.

Cool, Zack, thanks for updating that. I'm pretty sure the DVD order is the same as broadcast order, I just like looking ahead to the next bits of awfulness.

Datalore is one that I remembered fondly from being a kid. Data was a cool character to me as a child, and the way the show was done was cool from what I remembered.

I said that last week? Hah.

I think the episode "Justice" is a good argument against having goddamned children on the starship.

I like that this conversation can be had on an Internet forum.

THE BEES!
NOT THE BEES!

I thought Masks was really stupid on first viewing, but after seeing it again recently, it is bad but quite entertaining. I found it easy to watch. Still not as bad as these first season stinkers.

That's a car, right? A Mazda? Mazda Nunziata?

You got to drive when you were 8 or 9? Awesome!

I totally agree. I'm not sure why it bothers me…

Agree and disagree
I agree with many of these wholeheartedly: The Big Lebowski, Boogie Nights, There Will Be Blood, Eternal Sunshine, etc. Some of them, however…Out of Sight? Three Kings? Bourne Ultimatum? Good movies perhaps, but classics? (My opinion, of course.)

Too soon?
My friends and I would make top 10 lists and the rule was always that we couldn't include a movie that just came out and that we hadn't seen. Stupid rule I guess, I think we thought it was too soon for there to be "perspective" on its relation to other movies.

Kudos.
