IMBb says Will Forte wrote Carol specifically for Kristen Schaal, so I'd say it's literally impossible to imagine anyone else making Carol work as well as she does. I agree with the sentiment, Schaal makes Carol so damn endearing.

Jodelle Ferland's stayed mostly in small roles so she counts on the "unknown" radar, and Roger Cross falls under "The Canadian Sci-Fi Cast" blanket. Seeing Roger Cross in a show is a guarantee that a show is filmed in Canada. Or else they don't count for either unknown or Canadian Sci-Fi and that's why liron only said

"T'ra Saa, a tree with pronounced breasts."

I think it was just a combination of Mall and Walden, since they went to a mall. It wasn't meant to be that clever, but I still smiled with the characters at the pun.

But you forget the Han Solo Corollary, that fancy tricks and ancient weapons are no match to a good blaster at your side, kid. Just think of the Death Star as a really big blaster.

Well it brought you here, so it worked didn't it? If you hate clickbait, don't click, or comment. You insult the site for doing to you what it intended to do. "Damn you, commercial with a hot half-naked woman, you made me watch you!"

The way I've heard it told, the Wachowskis planned it out so that the Matrix used humans as computer networks instead of batteries, but the network executives thought audiences wouldn't understand that(oh the computer illiterate days of the late 1990s), so they made them change it to batteries. Give the Wachowskis a

Yep, the DS1's power requirements were such that it could only fire the laser once every 24 hours.

A middle-aged bald guy cameoing in the background of multiple musical montages? Did he go Too Many Cooks on these people later on? Too Many Cooks!

Jon Stewart?

Karen didn't become all rampage-focused until after her one night stand with Pete, I think is the point. I actually liked Karen and this idea of her having a relationship with Pete. It was very cute. Then she switched to rampage mode and became cold and a bit less likable. So I can see why the review made the

His show just started, that's why!

Oh yeah, who would've expected Sons of Anarchy of all the places on tv to have a surprisingly sensitive portrayal of a transwoman, including the sweetest romance with one of the gang's bikers. That was a gem in the last 2 seasons of Sons. More credit should be given to Walton Goggins and Kim Coates and the writers of

In my experience, didn't people use pencils to rewind cassette tapes? Their octagon shape fit into the spokey hole easier and was easier to twist than a finger. Were us kids who used pencils just doing it wrong?

I love that story. That's the kind of story even John Cusack would remember fondly as a cool fan encounter. That's truly memorable for how lowkey it is. Good for you! I regret that I only have one upvote to give.

I think I should feel bad for his wife now. She's the only person who sees his groin. What a cross to bear.

I actually think this season of The Strain has been pretty good, better than the first season when New Zack isn't onscreen. It has a 3-5 season plan and I hope it at least gets to tell the whole thing since it has that planned wrapup. It's not great tv, but it's entertaining tv, and that's what tv's supposed to be.

On a more serious note, you really could see what Connie saw in him. Even though Bobby was pudgy and not traditionally attractive, he had the charm of a man twice his age. It was a great contrast to how Joseph had the "tall dark and handsome" thing going on but was so awkward that he couldn't talk to girls at all.

This isn't a Jeopardy thread, but it's somehow still reassuring to see that the first thread on WoT has Jay S.'s name on it.

Isn't that the point behind the move? You're The Worst got mad love but lower ratings than Married, so they moved it to FXX where a lower ratings threshold is more forgiving? Less people watch FXX and often don't even know where to find it on their channel guides, but it does mean FXX has lower standards. With The
