Imagine having that as a cell phone ringtone with speaker capable of doing the full range of sound in that horn call. You could tell the people who had seen that movie by how many people immediately cringe and look around them with a horrified expression.

That flaming train, damn. It's so subdued yet immensely disturbing, to imagine what the fuck exactly happened to it to set it on fire, and the countless people who probably died inside. The characters' muted reactions makes it even worse, that their shell-shocked senses can barely take in such a disturbing scene

That must be nice, the way those couples are currently in their second week of college together.

And that's what I mean, characters come and go into focus. Wonder Girl and Batgirl have had episodes focusing on them before, particularly the episode at the secret Light/Reach hangar. The girls get featured, just not every episode, same as other characters. It's natural in this "Heroes Unlimited" version of the show.

It's like JLU, with that many characters it's hard to show all of them. They barely feature Red Arrow lately or Tim Drake's Robin or Mal Duncan or The Atom or any one of a couple dozen heroes introduced since the timeskip(minus Red Arrow) and don't focus on them. I'm sure Wonder Girl and Batgirl will show back up soon.

The EU retconned the hippies pretty quick, faster than anything else I've seen. TCW's initial Mando eps aired in 2009, by the end of the year The Essential Atlas was out that described Mandalore as being like seen on TCW, but made sure it was stated the hippies were a passing fad that faded out shortly after RotS.

I've been asleep in early mornings lately to miss TCW, but I saw this week. I liked it. I agree on loving the Viszla/Maul fight. I actually thought/hoped Viszla would win. Oddly, the lore nut in me was rooting for Death Watch the whole episode just to see Mandalore ruled by a warrior culture of Mandalorians again. So

I was surprised that Archer would make an Ent/Entmoot joke, given how he hates Lord of the Rings. He loves many an obscure pop culture thing, but he draws the line at LotR. Maybe just because he isn't a fan doesn't mean he isn't well-informed about it?

Everyone has a dick holster, just the guys wear it on the back pocket and pretend it isn't there. Maybe you can ask your urologist friends to pull the same joke.

@avclub-9ff7c9eb9d37f434db778f59178012da:disqus  And now I realize just why I love Greek(and Norse and Egyptian) mythologies so much. The gods were just as fallible, as "human" as us. They weren't these unknowable idols that man could only respectfully re-interpret to his own means. The gods screwed up all the goddamn

It was pretty good range for Olyphant. I didn't realize just how much of a twang he puts on as Raylan until I watched the rerun trying to hear Tim in Luke's voice. I couldn't hear Tim/Raylan 99% of the time in the episode. Olyphant is underrated at changing his voice range.

Wasn't that the BloodyFace copycats? I don't remember anything about Johnny coming back to life.

Also echoing love for Evan Peters. Just seeing how well he fit all the eras of fashion in the past 2 episodes was a joy. Who knew that cute modern era looking kid from the first season could be equally fitting as a greaser, asylum patient, hippie, and even a middle-aged 80s dad? He's a veritable chameleon in each

It probably helps that I'd give up if my show had ended last week too.

I also loved this. The show didn't feel the need to waste unnecessary exposition detailing the aliens' every motive. They were just the engine of change within the plot. The only major result of their manipulations was creating a neurosurgeon and Harvard law professor, and I guess easing the fractured mind of a broken

That is so funny but so mean.
