I couldn't get into season 1, but season 2 has me hooked from the start. Season 1 was just "first episode, creepy house, figure it out!". Asylum is "first episode, scary serial killer in the present, a lot of crazy people in the past, how does this tie to the present?", a much stronger sense of a goal in mind to drive

GDS, I hear you on it only having been 4 episodes. It feels like last week was a 2-parter, but did we have a 2-parter as soon as the second episode? It feels like we're 5 or 6 episodes in at least. The characters feel so familiar already. This show is so good.

The stray observations mention how the young Arden's actor looks very convincing. In the credits it said he was played by John Cromwell. I can only assume that's James Cromwell's son(his dad is named John, also on imdb, so it's a pretty likely namesake) is the one who played Young Arden. That would certainly explain

I actually noticed this too, the first time I noticed in the opening credits that each actor's name has a symbol with it. Lori's generic centipede probably wasn't symbolic at least. Neither Hershel nor T-Dog are in the opening titles either, which makes sense for T-Dog but not Hershel.

I had echoes of Sophie. Disappears in the middle of a zombie clusterfuck, the Ricktatorship spends 5 episodes looking for her. Like daughter like mother. I hope she's found in the very next episode or I'm calling her Momma Sophie.

I agree @avclub-924386c0f19fd05b90b53a5d4c2e65c5:disqus . IronE Singleton was great on Talking Dead. Such a nice guy, and I loved the way he kept waving his hands to get a louder reaction from the audience. I was more impressed by him in 20 minutes of Talking dead than 2 1/4 seasons of The Walking Dead. I was actually

A bit of a late reply, but the reason ANW was in Vegas and not Japan was because there was no NW this year. The company behind NW went bankrupt somehow, resulting in no new NW in Japan. That's why ANW had the full courses and even Nagano showed up to watch them compete, since there was nothing in Japan to compete on.

To be fair, ratings cheer up lots of showrunners. Louis CK loves high ratings, feeling it helps vindicate his cast and crew who work so hard his show. Whatever Kurt Sutter's attitudes are with cussing out reporters and reviewers, he loves his cast and crew like an extended family.

Plus they're her brother and ex-boyfriend, whom she didn't want to be apart from. So after "neutering them"(removing their lower jaws and arms so they couldn't attack), she chained them up to carry around.
