I'm so happy to see AV Club pick this up. I haven't enjoyed anything on television this fall more than Jane the Virgin. It's such an unexpectedly fantastic show. I really don't know that it can manage to stay as good as it is, but I'm going to try not to worry about that and just enjoy it while it lasts.

I can understand how some could see this as a TV sitcom trope, but I never did because I thought it stayed very true to Pam's character at the time.
