Although I doubt the writers have thought Bae's age through (especially if he's supposed to be Emma's old squeeze), time might pass differently in the various realms (a la Narnia).

I dunno, the scarf thing was probably the most realistic moment in the whole episode. The TSA always makes me take off my scarf.
