It's never really been a comment heavy show, and the move to Sunday nights definitely creates a lot of competition in the core audience of the site. But popular demand helped bring back the reviews after they were in danger of being dropped this season, so that's a positive sign. If you want them to continue, keep

Me? OVERANALYZE? HOW DARE YOU.

I don't think they're really arguing that they don't know of other things they can do—I think it's more that they were in full "we're gonna have sex" mode, and then realized that they weren't as immediately compatible in that way as they (read: Ian) realized.

I respect this, but feel like the ship has sailed on this one.

Carl shouting racial epithets at the other candidate = racist! It's simple because it's simple.

I don't know if the show ever really argued that Carl was more qualified than the people of color, though—I mean, they pretty much acknowledged that he would have been getting in through another form of privilege, in the form of the recommendation.

Yeah, I was specifically invested in "home bodies" there—for me, that's a term that much better describes his relationship with Mickey, but it's clear I glossed over some context.

Well, given that the tablet screen isn't operational when you're watching on the TV, that isn't really possible? This isn't a second screen, and there's no evidence it can be used as one. (I know you're making a joke here, but that's something the trailer is very careful to avoid).

Best case: Zelda and Splatoon Switch at launch, Mario and Mario Kart at Holiday.

Well, it's a graphical approximation of a new version of Mario Kart. Whether or not such a game is in development, and resembles this visualization, is impossible to know. (It's probably in development.)

It's definitely a touch screen—they don't show it, but every rumor that's been basically confirmed by this implies a multi-touch screen.

To your point about Ian, I'm not willing to give them credit and say that Caleb's introduction was about creating this manic episode—I don't think they were thinking that far ahead, and they tried to do about five other things with it unsuccessfully.

I think they said Carl is 16 when he went for the circumcision, so I would expect Dominique is also 16?

Apologies for the slip—I use disorder consistently, but occasionally the "diversify your language" side of the brain takes over. Fixed.

Yeah, I think the writers suggested at one point that Ian getting his GED just happened off-screen without the show telling us, but I think that just speaks to the way they rushed him into a new story. It's not that it would have taken Ian months to get his GED—it just would have been a delay in creating a stable work

The show sometimes forgets that Lip gets his aptitude from Frank, in addition to his alcoholism—Frank is very smart about how he works the system here, in a way that most of his homeless brethren are not.

I can't say if it got to the main offices or not, but on a personal level I got nothing in my inbox about the Epix shows.

In a Peak TV environment, it can depend sometimes about what the site is given access to in advance. I can't speak to this case in particular, but if no freelancers subscribe to Epix, and if screeners didn't get to editors it may not make it onto the docket.

It's the highest-rated show on one of the most-watched nights of TV, and enough other sites dropped coverage that there's a clear market for detailed coverage.

Seasons 1-6 are on Netflix now, which should make that a bit easier if you're so inclined.
