Don't make me pop you.

I like hating Piper, but I also really enjoy her presence, and feel the show has figured out the balance of her being an important character without having to be a central one.

It's not late! We've still got 12 hours until the next review is posted! We're not halfway through the cycle!

I'm just presuming it's comparable to the guilt I felt when I dropped that dude's pen and broke it when I borrowed it on a plane.

You also want to remember that with Disqus, you get notifications if people reply to comments. So if you were to reply to something I or someone else wrote about an episode a few days ago, we'll likely still see the notification, and might jump back. So what it might mean (echoing Sallgood) is that instead of STARTING

Hi Pau,

You're on THIN ICE suggesting that Piper has a plot this season. As far as readers knew, she could have just disappeared entirely! MONSTER.

Okay, let's de-escalate here - no need for anyone to feel affront so quickly and over my third, most minor concern.

Welcome to the A.V. Club’s Orange Is The New Black Comments Section! Whether you’re a new inmate or you’ve been on the inside for three years, it’s always important to remember the instructions you were given during the intake procedures: these episodic reviews will release daily, but you might watch at a faster pace,

JUST TEN?!

I would argue "CleganeBowl" meant the trial. The brothers could obviously still fight at some point, but it will be in more of a CleganeNFCChampionship.

Those are not comparable, though. Catelyn matters to the show and these characters: we met her, saw her impact, and it carries on in their motivations. Bringing her back up does not necessarily require Lady Stoneheart to exist for it to be meaningful.

I would make the argument that if it is not a trial by combat, then it is not CleganeBowl. I am a CleganeBowl purist (who is not overly concerned about the lack of CleganeBowl, but cares deeply about our definition of it.)

1) What proclamation are we talking about here—you mean Tommen's claim to the end of trial by combat? This felt pretty definitive, but even if it were to be revoked, there's no way that it could be cleanly turned into a trial by combat in a single episode (since next week is just the North, by all account).

We agree that it was obvious that Arya won, but I guess for me the scene lingers too long on Jaqen's discovery, and I don't necessarily buy that we understood Jaqen's position enough that we his subject position would be carrying the scene over that of the audience.

Yeah, that is not my argument here—yes, I have to speak honestly regarding some disappointment about what could have been, but my issue here is substance and clarity, not "this wasn't what I wanted."

Better put some trackers on those eyes before they roll under a cabinet or something.

Brandon might come through for you? (It is not forbidden. I just think the C+ carries a definitive statement that's tough to level against a transition episode that feels sympomatic rather than actively terrible.)

The controversial part was to further emphasize the sarcasm of my comment.

Well, okay, it's not an EARTH-SHATTERING reveal, but I think there's still something shocking about him just showing up suddenly.
