FF XII was the last Final Fantasy game I really enjoyed a great deal. After ten, which I liked but didn't love, I sort of fell off the J-RPG train for a number of years, but received XII as a gift one year and ended up loving it.

Yeah, particularly given season two's mixed reputation I'm certainly okay with taking a break for a while after wrapping up this season.

You will not be disappointed by the Lawrence Blu-Ray, it was the first movie I purchased with my player and it is a spectacularly epic and beautiful transfer.

This weekend was very relaxed, and the pop-culture front was mainly dominated by gaming.

An excellent find, sir.

I found the original Mass Effect to be very enjoyable on account of the depth of its setting and world but a bit unpolished on the technical and design front. The tedious Mako missions and weird, frequent performance hitches prevented the game from ever quite living up to its high potential while still being a solid

I've been blazing through season 1 of Friday Night Lights over the course of the last week with two episodes remaining and damn is it ever great.

Sweet lion on that cover man, might just get it painted on my trans-am while I cruise for  stunning women young enough to be my granddaughters amirite.
