Great film. The film is not ultimately about pregnancy, or the Christian
right, or the abortion debate. It's about a young girl's struggle to
find her place in a chaotic and turbulent world. Superb performances -
particularly by Hudgens - hold the film up. It's compassionate without
being sappy, inspiring without

There's also the episode when Ben is born and Chandler attempts to make the "when we're 40, we'll get together" pact. It ends with the joke about the parachute, and Monica doesn't even come close to taking it seriously, but it's nice that the chemistry between them was established pretty early. Good working off each

I wonder if the writer's were also already planting the seeds for the Monica/ Chandler pairing. Her thoughts about what he would be like in bed came across as something she had actually spent some time thinking about. At the very least it would seem like the writers were planning the long nurtured crush on brother's

I had a couple that grabbed my attention, including Uncle Jesse and Marty McFly, but the one that I truly swooned over was Harrison Ford. Probably because I loved both Indiana Jones and Han Solo. It was that sarcastic smirk that did me in every time.

Oh, I had never heard that term before AD. Maybe it wasn't a reference then, but I'm gonna go ahead and believe that it was.

No mention of the Arrested Development reference in the Stray Observations?! What gives?! It couldn't have been a coincidence that Roger
Sterling called himself Pop-Pop as his affectionate grandparent name. Especially after John Slattery being in a handful of episodes in
the new Arrested Development season.

The Weirs would probably be my first choice, but I would love to a part of the work family in Party Down. Also the hang out family in How I Met Your Mother or Cheers would be pretty spectacular.

I feel like there was a missed opportunity for Shawn or Gus to say "Have Mercy" at some point in this episode.

I think my favorite bit was the throwaway Dexter's Laboratory reference. At first I just thought Shawn was saying laboratory like that just to be a goof, but following it up with the whats pronounced exactly like Dexter had me laughing pretty hard.

I think that the fact that they went to Mexico twice is also a reference to Arrested Development. The family has to go back after their first trip to look for George Bluth Sr. because they forgot Ann in Mexico.

As soon as I saw Benjamin's dress I was reminded of Ariel's hastily made cover up of a torn sail and rope right after she got legs in The Little Mermaid. Apparently Nina had the same thought.

I was wondering if anybody else caught that. Too bad the rest of the episode didn't live up to the call back.

These roles scream Lucille and Lindsay Bluth. If
the Arrested Development Movie was still in doubt I would've
recommended them just to get my
fix.
