You know, I watched this movie and Amour within a few months of each other, and didn't realize until reading this article that Jean-Louis Trintignant was in both of them.

So: the ending. (Here there be SPOILERS, if it wasn't obvious.)

Not to be confused with its sister school, Bovine University.

I once had my windshield repaired by a guy named Tom Riddle.

I don't know, he does have all of that sweet "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" money coming in.

The airport's almost always empty this time of the year, so let's go play on a baggage carousel.

Is there a legal way (in the US) to see the first six episodes of this show without a DirecTV subscription? It sounds like it would be right up my alley, but I'm not willing to pony up for cable just for this one show.

And then there’s the question of why Nicolas Cage, of all secular movie stars, agreed to headline this faith-based clunker.

I will be pleasantly surprised if they ever return, to be honest.

For movies: Alexander Payne's "Election" is a perfect black comedy in my book. I found "Citizen Ruth" interesting but a little clumsy; and everything he's made since I've found to be well-crafted but a little dull.

I kinda sorta agree with you about David Bowie. Not Queen, though. Never Queen.

I really really like "Pastwatch: The Redemption of Christopher Columbus", despite its clunky title. But then, I'm a sucker for alternate history stories.

As of March, the overlords were still hoping to finish the series (!) by the end of 2015. However, there's 88 episodes left for them to review, and only 67 weeks until the end of 2015, so I suspect that deadline might not be met.
