This was my first exposure to the word as well. I didn't even know it was a slur until I read this article. I had always just ignored it as having a meaning when watching this episode.

@cninja The federal minimum wage laws only apply to interstate commerce (some states have others but not all) : US Department of Labor map. So if you have all your restaurants in a single Southeastern state and you can find people willing to work, you can pay the dishwashers shit to.
