To be fair, those Midol commercials with Women doing stand-up did heavily suggest that women weren't funny.

I would argue that none of the Pixar movies would be good live action movies. Also, for the most part I agree Pixar makes awesome movies, but Wall-E was boring and the Cars movies are terrible.

If the hosts of  "The View" were Male, they wouldn't be hosts of "The View?" Yeah, I think that's pretty accurate.

Family Ties is for idiots, Vanilla extract is usually only %35 alcohol. Peppermint extract (%90) is where it's at.

It just seems weird and completely irresponsible that Mako assumed that pro-bending was all that they needed as far as employment

@avclub-91546109eaf110327d50b0955865712a:disqus I hope not. For continuity's sake I assume the equalists gloves and sticks aren't delivering the same joules as a lightning bender. Teaching high school age kids to lightning bend is basically teaching hormonal teenagers to flat out murder someone, skipping the whole

The Mako/Bolin Homelessness issue actually kind of bugs me. Couldn't they just find some unpopulated area outside the city and have Bolin earthbend a house? Why didn't Mako look for a real job (at the powerplant) until they needed to raise money for a tournament. I understand that the lack of opportunities available

This is an interesting idea because taking bending away from Toph would be like stealing a real world blind person's dog/cane. If Amon did such a thing it would go beyond the bending is part of a persons identity so taking it away is bad sentiment and become just plain dickish.

My only problem with the everyone can lightning bend thing is that Zuko never learned it in ATLA. Iroh (the original one) made it clear that lightning was just an emotionless form  of firebending. Zuko couldn't learn it because at the time his firebending was controlled by rage. Once the culture was shifted from a

I kind of want to see more of the city dynamic when Sokka was around. It seems to me that this anti-bender ideology couldn't be a new sentiment and Sokka would surely have been a non-bender that commanded great respect. I have to wonder if the city would be significantly different with a prominent non-bender on the
