Say what you will about JLO, but even though she used to have a little and now she has a lot, she still knows where she came from.

I agree. It was a pretty depressing book without any real bright spots. I'm a huge HP fan, but I try and judge her work outside the series as I would any other author. She's a terrific writer overall, but Casual Vacancy wasn't her best.

I'd buy that Pops would travel around the world on a cruise or golf tour or something like that (if they wrote it in).

Not every young teen wants the kind of attention they'd get from wearing low-cut tops. I was quiet and nerdy growing up. Was the first to "develop" and wore big, baggy shirts through most of my teen years because I was embarrased/shy. This doesn't strike me as odd behavior at all.

Even though this show is in its 3rd season, it still feels new a lot of the time. Maybe it's the ever-rotating cast, I dunno.
