I thought so too, but after checking Wikipedia, it seems that Manson directed and appears in the video. Courtney Love makes sense as an option.

God, the ending of the Pledge was such a gut-punch.
Same. Must be because I don't have AV Club Premium.
Oh fuck.
@avclub-eac75edc18b8546c46893fe4b75ab995:disqus I had seen a couple of episodes of Life and Times of Tim, and thought they were pretty good. Then I watched this season, and holy shit, it became one of my favorite shows. I hope we haven't seen the end of it.
Can't stand the taste/smell of coffee in all its forms.
I missed the part of the movie where I was watching a documentary.
I want this stitched onto a pillow.
Well, into the credits, it was an instrumental version of The National's "Runaway". I've had the album "High Violet" playing in my car the past week, so it was pretty fresh in my head; plus someone above confirmed it. I think there was another song afterwards, but I couldn't recognize it.
"So did I."
I'm just so happy someone else remembers the term 'Joementum'. Truly a high point in the evolution of the English language.
The original title of War & Peace.
Real Human Being.
OH MY GOD, YOU DIDN'T SAY "BEGGING THE QUESTION". THANK YOU.
Nothing brings out the dregs of the AV Club like a grunge-related article.
It's Frightening was one of my favorite records of '09, and it mainly was because it reminded me of Spoon (and some HTTT-era Radiohead). I then picked up Fort Nightly and felt like their ideas didn't coalesce as well as it would later. However, I like the Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga comparison, and will be interested to hear it.…
I was much more a fan of "Spoon 2.0" as compared to "honkey-tonk calypso". Looks like I'll be disappointed.
You cannot NOT hear his voice.
Lunch at drinking is an option?
To my ears, there's just something wrong with melody in the chorus. It doesn't make musical sense to me. I can see what they're doing, and understand why people like it, but man, something just seems like a half-step off.
