Surprised at the tone
I think I agree with you in not caring, but from the moment I heard the Satriani song side-by-side with Viva la Vida, it seemed pretty hard to argue that Coldplay didnt steal part of it. It doesn't kind of sound alike - it sounds like the same song just played by someone else.

A caveat to my mini-review is that Im reviewing it based on my perception of really good television, not comparing it to the rest of TV.
