A perfectly good explanation for its title
You see, a Rememberer is a term for someone who knows bits and pieces of ancient languages but is not fluent in them. I'm quite sure CBS is making a show about someone investigating ancient mysteries using their powers of old language. I agree it would be quite ridiculous if

Spongebob price
Even if this stays at the listed MSRP of 99.99, this is a great deal in the children's show DVD market, which normally rips off parents.

I have to say I agree. As a daily 'club visitory and someone who wants to be more involved in Wrapped, I'd like a sidebar or something like that as a daily reminder.

Even more special due to Chabon's age while writing
When I first read this a few years back, I was just out of college and very much into reading and writing. Anything I wrote in the fiction area felt to be a mess. I was disheartened, as I imagine many young writers are.

Furthermore, how can NPH be credited with the ratings? Prior to the show nobody knew if he would be good or not, and the ratings steadily declined through the end of the show, even as the big awards were being given out. By comparison, Sunday Night Football kept most of its audience.

So that means, what, 14 million people watched?
This is still less than CSI reruns. I didnt have a problem with the broadcast, but this has to be a sign that the nation as a whole just doesnt care.

Yummsh, if Old Dogs is half as good as it looks, we're all in for a big treat.

All the aspects of this game are "not bad"
But nothing is really great. Playing this demo, you start out excited about the wealth of options you have in moving around and dispatching your enemies. Then you realize its a hodgepodge of Tomb Raider, Max Payne and Ninja Gaiden, but far below any of those in terms of

There is no way Ill remember this
Is there some way I could give you my email, then you guys could shoot me an email reminder so I can make sure to remember? I'm not sure if I want you to remind me a day in advance, or even as close as just 15 minutes before, but I'll get back to you on that.

Todd, I do agree with you in that in certainly can be a strength. The scenes with the Emerald Greens (or whatever it was) in the pilot were fantastic. I still giggle thinking that someone is spray painting dirt green so it will look "nice". In addition, they mix this scene with Finn's intro to music and later remind

Watchmen ruined any chance of enjoying other comics for me. After I finished that I started on The Walking Dead, which I guess isn't terrible, but just pales in comparison.

Nice catch be bo ba.

Immaculate - Ill admit to not being well versed on the musical theory side of it. However, were I Satriani's lawyer, I would simply say that a signficant part of Viva la Vida sounds like a significant part of Satriani's song. Im not sure a judge would care how easily or likely the artists would come about writing

Surprised at the tone
I think I agree with you in not caring, but from the moment I heard the Satriani song side-by-side with Viva la Vida, it seemed pretty hard to argue that Coldplay didnt steal part of it. It doesn't kind of sound alike - it sounds like the same song just played by someone else.

The choreographer was the kid from Jurassic Park who said Velociraptors werent scary

A caveat to my mini-review is that Im reviewing it based on my perception of really good television, not comparing it to the rest of TV. Im quite sure that if I was reviewing "Bones" or another show like that I would have multiple aneurisms and give the show an F - every night. So last Glee was bad, but not THAT bad.

B -? Terrifically funny?
Lets all get real here. The pilot was fantastic. Ep 2 wasn't bad, but certainly worrisome about the direction of the show. This past episode was just really bad.

McNulty and TomW - I dont disagree that these themes are present, but Im definitely not giving into Locke working for Hurley's company as having any specific meaning. These efforts that are not tied into the story with reason aren't staggering. You have to give Lost credit where it's due and not go gaga over the

No. Locke working at Hurley's box company has nothing to do with "commentary on fate and identity". It has nothing to do with anything.

I do enjoy when avclub over does the hipster thing and we get news items that belong more in The Onion then they do here.
