Did Spade's Hollywood Minute pre-date Talk Soup, though?

B+? No way, dude. I thought the C was generous. This just misfired way too much.

Sorry, guys, but I disagree. He's the best part of the show, as far as I'm concerned.

Too harsh? If anything, I think they may be taking it a bit easy on this show. I do agree, however, that Leslie is the dead weight of the show and that most of the supporting characters are much funnier. The first season of The Office may not have been as good as it is now, but it was still funnier than what we're

Heart of Hush
I think that may have been a little harsh on Hush (heh). I thought that story was really good, and liked the play between Hush and Batman. This series defined Hush better for me, and set him up as a potentially great Batman villain that's different from the other folks in the gallery. I guess the B-

Chris Pratt entry correction
The entry says that, "[Pratt] and Amy Poehler are funny enough to keep watching." I think it should be amended to say, "Pratt does well enough, but Poehler plays the character as shrill and annoying. Watch anyway, I guess."

"Isn't it possible they thought she was the best actress?"
See, your argument is flawed right there. Nobody would think that Ali Larter is the best actress for any part…even the lead in "The Ali Larter Story."

Evil Cabal
I don't know why, but I love this idea of a secretive cabal of people plotting things. Does Moderator Fakey Ally know the identities of these people? If not, then how can this cabal be taken down? Maybe this will be the crux of the next season.

More specifically, his name was on a list that was on a flash drive hidden inside Dubaku's body. That's how they found him and quickly arrested him.

The the most correct comment of this thread is awarded to…Arsenio Billingham! The loss of SDSU is not a shame nor is it a tragedy. This is a show that never should have made it to air, but now that it has, it's meeting its deserved fate. It's not a Firefly, that actually had potential, this was just an awful show

Well, personally, seeing Salma Hayek in a BSG shirt means that I can never be truly happy with a woman for the rest of my days, as they will be constantly compared to that Platonic ideal.

Also remember that Charles wasn't Michael's permanent replacement. He's a VP or something in the company (replacing Ryan, I think), and was only there to visit and observe, then temporarily take over when Michael left. They would have had to hire a "new" Michael anyway, so you can't take his salary into account in

The show's problems…
Handlen hits the nail on the head with his criticism of the show. To re-compare it to Buffy, by the middle of season 2, it was clear that it was a show that was going places, but Reaper seems like it's happy to run in circles. I'd have thought that being nearly canceled after season 1 would have

Yeah, that was funny. Because when a show does that, it's usually about something that's supposed to be a heavy subject from the episode, but, of course, Hank would talk about clogging a toilet. Funniest advice, "If it's a father and son company, request the father."

Good movie for an AV Talk
I listened to this up until they warned about major spoilers, and ended up going to see the movie precisely because of the review and the part of the Talk that I heard. It was going to be an easy pass until you guys noted the darker parts not alluded to in the ads.

It happened to me, too
I've been a serious Heroes apologist. After the dull as sandpaper season 2, I said that season 3 would be better. They got hamstrung by the writers' strike, I said. They'll get it next time. 3 is bad, but there's hope. We may have lost the wonderful Pushing Daisies, but it means Fuller can

"I don't read superhero comics."
Along with "I don't own a TV," "They're great, but you've probably never heard of them," and "I heard it on NPR," there's nothing more hipster-douchey you can say. I think I literally rolled my eyes when I read that.

"Hot and Spicy Mustard Crisis" made me laugh.

I gotta say, I also found the clip condescending. The guy-in-sweatpants part was probably the worst. I'll readily admit that you can find some weird folks at the comic store, but I've never seen someone on the level of t-shirt-tucked-in-sweatpants. It's a straw-man made for the joke.

I don't get some of you guys…
I didn't remember that Hurwitz was behind SDSU, and I thought it sucked as well. So I was viewing it from the "lens" of being part of the animation lineup. It was awful. And while the animation was not great, I didn't even care about that. The "jokes" didn't work, and the show as a
